Evey Trans operates 50 Olectra electric buses on the 17-km-long Tirupati-Tirumala Ghat route with 36 hairpin bends. These fully air conditioned e-buses with a seating capacity of 35 passengers while offering a sustainable ascent to the shrine have reduced the noise and air pollution on the Ghats. With zero emissions, the 100 % e-buses plying the route preserve the biodiversity of the Seshachalam forests. The silent operations allow pilgrims to experience the breath taking views of the Ghats sustainably and peacefully.
The e-buses are known for their efficiency and can cover a distance of about 200 kilometres on a single charge, eliminating range anxiety. These e-buses have covered over 1 crore clean kilometres, saved over 25 lakh litres of diesel and cut carbon emissions by over 69 lakh kgs. The e-buses align perfectly with India’s commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions. Our e-buses also contribute to three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals– SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 13: Climate Action.
While Evey Trans operates 50 e-buses serving the high-traffic Tirumala – Tirupati route, the remaining 50 e-buses are operated as intercity
Prioritising passenger comfort and safety, the electronically controlled air suspension ensures a smooth ride even on challenging curves, while CCTV cameras and an emergency button guarantee safety. Additionally, USB sockets at each seat cater to the needs of modern travellers.
