The transport ministry of Goa aims to electrify 80% of its public transport. EveyTrans has partnered with the Goa government to launch electric bus services for the benefit of the people of Goa and the tourists visiting this holiday destination. EveyTrans, in collaboration with Olectra will provide 50 buses to Kadamba-Transport Corporation in Goa.
Evey Trans has been chosen by KTCL to operate and maintain the 12-metre electric buses based on a Gross Cost Contract (GCC) / OPEX model for 10 years. Our electric buses are ergonomic and fully functional. They are spacious and convenient for both short and long-distance travel needs. These buses are fully air-conditioned with a capacity to seat 49 passengers, including the driver. With features like advanced suspension, disc brakes, CCTV cameras and emergency buttons, travelling in our electric buses is safe, reliable and comfortable.
It has already been proved that the electrification of public transport buses can reduce emissions and fight climate change. In the long run, electric buses tend to be cheaper with low maintenance and longer life. The lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery used in our e-bus is designed to meet the demands of the operating range of up to 200 Kilometres on a single charge. The same battery is used to power the air conditioning and electrical systems in the bus. Our technologically advanced electric buses have a regenerative braking system that converts most of the kinetic energy lost during braking and utilise it to recharge the battery. The regenerative braking system ensures efficient braking, extended range and reduced pollution during each journey.
