Chairman’s message
The new age, clean and efficient urban transport, is gaining momentum in India as government policy pushes and incentivises. The fossil fuel-based transport system is the major concern in urban pollution. Zero-emission, electric buses can be instrumental in reducing pollution and reducing oil import dependency. India needs two million buses by 2030 in its public transport system. The efforts to introduce electric buses in state transport corporations are already picking up the pace.
As India’s only 100 per cent electric bus operator, Evey Trans is exploring various options to expand its fleet of electric buses in multiple segments. It has already clocked over 4.5 crore kilometres in eight states and reduced over 25,000 tonnes of carbon emissions. Apart from the environmentally friendly, electric buses are economical too, as the operating costs are much less than diesel buses.
We are planning to launch an intercity and interstate electric fleet in the very near future. The company aims to provide a comfortable, luxury travel experience for intercity commuters. The Pur Bus is instrumental in this effort.
We believe in providing comfort and convenience to passengers.
